Over the past decade, PULSE has expanded its digital-commerce capabilities, transforming from a PIN debit network to one that offers the full range of debit transactions and verification methods, both in-store and online. Among the more recent enhancements PULSE has made are two solutions for card-on-file (COF) transactions.
PULSE® Side-by-Side Token Service enables routing choice on tokenized COF purchases, including cryptogram validation. Real-Time Account Updater keeps non-tokenized COF accounts current, preventing a payment disruption when cardholder information changes due to card reissuance or expiration.
